I'm Getting Married!

Most of you guys know that I'm not a Catholic.
And it is a practice in our church that we have to ask for permission from
our minister if ever we wanted to settle down and have our own family.
Most of you may ask questions.. As to why do we have to?

Well, I think there's nothing wrong with that.
The church only wants us to value the sacrament of the vows we are to receive.
That being a husband or a wife is not that easy..
We should be financially, emotional, physically and psychologically ready for it.





Last May, me and Jhun, as some of you have been informed; We take chances of asking for permission. And as of Saturday (Aug.16), we received the answer


Thanks be to God!!!





Hopefully, next year, he'll be coming home for the wedding.
That would be a simple christian wedding that would be attended to by some of our relatives, some churchmates and friends. I don't know if I would be able to invite all of you.. but surely, I'll post an updates here..

So far, I felt mixed emotions..
But the moment I received the news, I was like shocked for about five minutes and I just realized I was crying. I was really touched and didn't expect this that soon!
I have a church friend and they got married when she was 37yrs old na hehe!
Kala ko matutulad kami dun eh!

It's really a blessing!! sabi nga:

" Ang nakakasumpong ng mabuting asawa ay nagtatamo ng lingap ng Panginoon"

I just hope and pray, things would be okay until he came.
So for now, little by little, we have to work things out and plan the wedding.
Wala akong alam!! any suggestions?
